Celebrate the season in style with a Christmas event designed to delight from the moment your guests arrive. There’s something very magical about The Great House at Christmas, with its fireplaces, twinkly lights, cosy corners and views over a frosty river. With indulgent festive menus, elegant private event spaces, and seasonal touches throughout, all you need to do is arrive, raise a glass, and enjoy a truly memorable Christmas.

THE NOOK & DEN

A pair of characterful rooms with exposed brickwork, panelling and fireplaces, as well as doors overlooking a private terrace, and views of the lawns to the river. Perfect for private dining, these rooms can be used individually to seat 8, or joined together to seat 16.

THE SECRET ROOM

The Secret Room is a characterful room with exposed brickwork and fireplace. It has wonderful views of the terrace, lawns and river. The Secret Room can seat up to 16 people for lunch or dinner, or can be connected to The Parlour for a larger group.

THE RETREAT & THE PARLOUR

With exposed brick chimney breast and pretty fireplace, The Retreat & The Parlour are lovely rooms for festive dining. Enjoy views over the lawns to the river beyond as you raise a toast. Each seats 18 on its own, but can be combined together to seat 36.
