You’re welcome any time of day at The Great House. Our restaurant and bar is open all day long for fresh, seasonal food and drinks prepared with care. Whether you join us for an early breakfast, a quick lunch, a late-night cocktail, or our much-loved Sunday roast, you’ll always find food to suit your mood. Walk-ins are welcome during the week, but we recommend making a reservation at weekends.

The Great House is open throughout the day for dining, from breakfast through to late evening. Exact timings can vary slightly, but as a guide:
Monday to Friday, 7am – 11pm
Saturday, 8am – 11pm
Sunday, 8am – 10pm
We recommend checking ahead or booking to secure your preferred time.
Walk-ins are welcome throughout the week, and we’ll always do our best to find you a table. For weekends, Sundays and busier periods, we recommend booking ahead.
If you're visiting the bar for a drink there's no need to book — drop by and pull up a stool.
Yes, we welcome group bookings and celebrations. Tables for up to 10 can be booked online, for anything larger or private dining, please get in touch with the team directly and we’ll talk you through the options.

We serve traditional Sunday roasts each week, best enjoyed over a long afternoon by the river. Booking is recommended as Sundays tend to fill up.
Yes, we serve afternoon tea at The Great House, in the restaurant, on the terrace, in our igloos or in one of our more relaxed bar spaces. Bookings are required with 48 hours notice so our kitchen can freshly prepare your sweet and savoury treats.
No, the restaurant is open to both guests staying at the hotel and non-residents.
Absolutely, well-behaved dogs are welcome in selected areas of the restaurant and on the terrace. If you’re bringing your dog, it’s always worth noting this when booking.
Yes, we have tables outside with views over the River Thames, ideal for drinks, long lunches and warmer days. These are popular, so booking is recommended when the weather is good. Our igloos provide the best river views in all weathers, and booking is highly recommended.
